I'm not here to sell you a product. I'm here to build you a plan.

I'm a licensed financial services professional based in Utah. My background is in strategy. The first thing we'll do is figure out what you actually need.

I work with clients on tax-aware accumulation, retirement income, Medicare, and family protection. I also coordinate with your CPA, your attorney, and anyone else on your team, so the pieces actually fit together.

What does “strategy-based” planning actually mean?

The plan gets built before the products. We start with your goals, your timeline, and your tax picture. Then we figure out which tools fit. Same product can be a great fit for one client and the wrong move for another. Depends on the situation.

Who do you usually work with?

Business owners. Young families. Pre-retirees in their last 5 to 15 working years. Entrepreneurs with income that doesn't come on a regular schedule. The common thread is that there's real complexity to sort through.

Are you tied to one insurance carrier?

No. The practice is independent, so strategies get chosen based on what fits your situation, not what one carrier happens to offer.

What does the first call look like?

15 to 30 minutes. No pitch, no pressure. We talk through what you're trying to build or protect, and figure out together whether this kind of planning is a fit. If it isn't, you'll know quickly.

Do you give investment or tax advice?

Everything on this site is educational. I'm a licensed insurance professional, so my recommendations sit on the insurance and planning side. For tax or legal advice on your specific situation, you'll want a CPA or attorney. I coordinate with yours when it helps the plan.

How do you get paid?

Commission, paid by the carrier when a product is placed. The first conversation and the strategy design don't cost you anything. If you choose to move forward with a product, the compensation gets disclosed clearly before anything is signed.
